Despite prominent open-border politicians increasingly expressing support for the ridiculous idea of abolishing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agency, very few American voters actually agree with them.
According to a POLITICO/Morning Consult poll released last week, only 25 percent of voters think ICE should be abolished, compared to 54 percent who think the agency should remain. Even in a border state such as Arizona, only 17 percent support abolishing ICE.
Undeterred by these numbers, radically open-border politicians are not backing down.
“The president’s deeply immoral actions have made it obvious we need to rebuild our immigration system from top to bottom starting by replacing ICE with something that reflects our morality and that works,” possible 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren declared at a Boston rally.
Warren is hardly alone in her radical call to abolish ICE. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who defeated incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley last month in a New York Democratic primary, ran on a platform that included the abolishment of the agency.
“So abolishing ICE doesn’t mean get rid of our immigration policy, but what it does mean is to get rid of the draconian enforcement that has happened since 2003 that routinely violates our civil rights, because, frankly, it was designed with that structure in mind,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
Other politicians pushing this stance include New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon outright called ICE a “terrorist organization.”
Acting on their words, House Democrats introduced a bill last week that would scrap the agency. House Republican leadership originally planned to capitalize on the idea’s unpopularity by holding a vote on the bill, but ultimately decided against it. A vote would have forced Democratic lawmakers who represent voters who largely support ICE’s mission to take a stand on the issue. Instead, the House will vote on a resolution to support ICE.
“It’s the craziest position I’ve ever seen and they [the Democratic leadership]are just, they’re tripping over themselves to move too far to the left,” said Speaker Paul Ryan, according to Politico. “They are out of the mainstream of America.”
ICE arrested more than 100,000 criminal aliens in 2017. DUI and drug possession were the most common charges. The agency protects the United States by tracking down those who aren’t legally permitted to be here, including the removal of hundreds of thousands of criminal aliens. While open-border politicians may not understand the important role ICE plays in law enforcement, the American people still do.

There can be no immigration reform until the border is secured and sealed airthight. I can not understand why those crazy liberals don’t understand that. We must stop the radical left’s attempt to destroy the United States of America now.

This is proof that the education system in this country has failed. We have far left Marxist/anti-American professors teaching our kids who become teachers and then they teach K-12 kids to be anti-American morons. Way too many children come out of our schools with their heads full of they type of propaganda that brought us such wizards as Stalin, Mao and Hugo Chavez. Unfortunately, the kids are taught so little economics, math, logic and history that they don’t know the stories of utopia that they have been fed have in the past led to the deaths of hundreds of millions over the last century. The kids aren’t taught that the countries which have followed these ideas have been spectacularly miserable failures. And the proof is in the banner at the top of this article.

Far to many of our elected officials were more than willing to sell their soul and their country for money, power and votes. WE re-elect most of them ! Why build the wall when we let’m all in anyway? This latest invasion and their kids is proof of that.
It’s really time to stop fooling around. Whatever money it takes to hold illegals with their families until their case is determined will be worth it in the end. It will quickly get back to those in the home country not to come here. Of course the left will pitch a fit but wasn’t the initial uproar about children being separated from their parents? But everyone knew that was just a charade. The left’s goal is catch and release with a court date two years from now, which they will not show up for. Which means open borders under any other definition.
Those released with an asylum claim need to be told it is your obligation to stay in contact with ICE. Not showing up means automatic deportation. It’s not like forgetting to pick up milk on the way home from work. They know there is no penalty for not showing up, even if caught. There needs to be teeth in the law.
And of course illegal advocates will go judge shopping across the country to shut down any and all enforcement. Those need to be appealed to higher courts immediately. We worry about a country five thousand miles away but a significant portion of our political class says how high when Mexico says jump. The media showered praise all over Obama when he went to Havana and shook hands with Raul Castro while thousands of Cubans still languish in miserable prison conditions. Double standard?

If these illegal immigrants want to come to this country do it the right way stop breaking the laws that we as Americans have to obey and live by .it should be fair for everybody nobody should get special treatment. These people aren’t living in reality. We can’t afford the over $100 billion illegal immigration costs the US each year as it is. The date of the insolvency of Social Security has recently been moved up, it is projected that in 2019 the federal government’s deficit will be $1 trillion, and the federal debt is already over $20 trillion.
Just because we have the world’s biggest economy doesn’t mean we can just borrow trillions forever. But lets have unlimited illegal immigration, and “free” Medicare and college for everyone in the US and any one of the 7 billion people on the planet who sets foot here! Yay!
When things really start getting interesting in this country is when we can no longer borrow trillions to maintain our delusions of grandeur, as interest rates inevitably rise and interest payments on the debt consume an increasingly large portion of the federal debt.
But in the meantime it is possible to live well and enjoy reveling in our delusions of grandeur.

If these idiots want to abolish profits, where do they think money to run the government comes from? We’re fresh out of golden geese, and the closest thing to them are President Trump’s economic policies. The Democrats know just enough about them to realize that they are just the opposite of Obama’s policies, so they automatically hate them.
Take an objective look at who benefitted from Obama’s policies: his supporters, whom Obama made rich from our treasury. Very few companies Obama (taxpayers) promoted were profitable, but the individuals were protected. Obama’s public schemes sent taxpayer dollars to put more people on welfare, which Obama considered a sign of success. President Trump removed most of Obama’s socialist measures, reduced regulations on businesses, cut taxes, and inspired business expansion. The result was a huge increase in profits, and EVERYBODY benefitted, with more to come.
Yet, The Resistance is determined to drive Trump out of office by concocting lies about everything he says and does, especially regarding our intelligence community which has been proven to have worked actively against Trump since before he was even elected. The FBI, CIA, and DOJ were fine and effective agencies many years ago, but they have been under the control of the Deep State for decades, and Jeff Sessions has been unable or unwilling to change that.
