Recently, TBS Late-Night comedienne, Samantha Bee, confidently stated on live television that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) needs to be eliminated from the United States, a claim that is not only egregious, but also reflective of the open borders lobby refusal to separate emotions from facts when discussing immigration reform. Not quite on par with her classless and vulgar remark about Ivanka Trump, but still ignorant.
On her broadcast “Full Frontal,” a show that draws in millions of nightly viewers, Bee scrutinized ICE, declaring, “Let’s shut it the f*** down. I’m serious. It’s awful. And we don’t actually need it. You know, I’m a liberal. I don’t usually advocate for smaller government, but in this case, as I say to my barista every morning, there should be one less ICE.”
Bee’s comments are not surprising. She has been a firm advocate for open borders and has a fundamental misunderstanding of the key role ICE plays in American law enforcement.
As a division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, ICE enforces over 400 statutes relating to everything from counterfeit goods, to customs duties, to foreign students. And it does all this in order to keep Americans safe. Its 20,000 employees and 400 offices throughout the country enforce laws relating to the removal of immigration violators and has increasingly become a significant player in combating terrorism.
Since 2003, ICE has deported more than three million aliens, with the agency removing over 240,000 aliens and well over 60,000 criminal aliens from the country in 2016 alone (and that was the slowest year in recent memory). These numbers include members of violent gangs such as MS-13 and individuals who have committed serious crimes, such as murder.
With nearly 231,000 crimes committed by aliens between 2013 and 2015, and approximately 180,000 criminal aliens who remain at-large in the U.S. with deportation orders, as well as a population of 12.5 million illegal aliens currently in the U.S., it remains imperative to keep ICE intact and fully supported. Local and state law enforcement agencies already have a tough enough job keeping our streets safe. If ICE were abolished, alien criminals and immigration violators would simply remain in American cities, where they could commit additional crimes.
It is also important to note, when given the opportunity to fully exercise its authorities, the simple presence of ICE deters potential illegal aliens from crossing the border or overstaying their visa. The existence of the agency reminds them that successfully eluding the Border Patrol does not mean they are now safe from apprehension and deportation.
Allowing foreign nationals to flout American immigration laws undermines the public order that is necessary for average citizens to conduct their daily business safely. That’s why having an interior immigration enforcement agency, and allowing it to do its job, is important. As opined by Ira Mehlman, media director at FAIR, “Law enforcement — particularly enforcement of civil laws — rarely feels good. But…what feels good can be harmful and what is necessary is often uncomfortable.”

There is a reason that foul-mouthed ***** is on LATE at night. First, she’s lousy at comedy. Not much of what she says or does has any humor to it. At least to anyone with a mental measurement above moron.
Second, she’s a Liberal. Nothing liberals do should be considered funny other than that they somehow have evaded the old truism that “only the fit survive”. They should be absolutely extinct if for no other reason than that they abort their own. That should, at least, cause diminishing returns.
Third, she’s got the filthily foul mouth of a stevedore. (Considering her looks she may well be a tranny as far as I’m concerned.) Again, no one with any sense of decency and moral behavior would intentionally watch her as far as I can determine. What comes out of her mouth is pretty much what goes into my toilet.
Finally, she appears on TBS, which we all know belongs to the ex husband of the traitor “Hanoi Jane” Fonda- a flaming liberal if there ever was one I believe, Ted Turner. Himself an open proponent of baby-killing and such. So, TBS, (that’s Turner Broadcasting System), which is run by Turner, shows the low-level socialist left turn “programs” (aka propaganda) he, and by extension, filthy mouthed Samantha Bee (who’s life is probably as clean as her mouth is), drench the American Public with.
To bad he can’t just stick to restoring old films. And she to what she’s best suited for, cleaning out full Porta Potties.
They aren’t American, period! This is NOT a fledgling turn of the 20th century country that NEEDED people to build an infrastructure and a SOCIETY! Not even close, and it was time to close the doors 50 years ago imho. Selective immigration is all we need now. When there is not ONE, and I mean ONE, hungry American or even worse one homeless VETERAN in this country then and ONLY then can you discuss ANY type of immigration with me!

—-Some analysts are concerned China is trying to erode U.S. influence in the region to weaken the U.S. military presence and create an opening for Chinese military access. In the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), a U.S. territory near Guam in Micronesia, Chinese investors’ casino resort developments (financed with the EB-5 VISA PROGRAM) could complicate U.S. Department of Defense plans in CNMI for extensive training and exercises resulting from the recent relocation of Marines from Okinawa, Japan.
—-On CNMI’s island of Tinian, Chinese investors have plans for two multimillion-dollar resorts located close to land leased by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) as it plans to redeploy 4,100 Marines from Okinawa, Japan, to Guam, a move that will require greater use of CNMI land for training and exercise purposes. DOD has a long-term lease for two-thirds of Tinian. In 2015, Macau-based investment firm Alter City Group secured a 25-year land lease for a $1.2 billion integrated casino resort that would border DOD-leased land. Bridge Investment Group, a U.S.-based real estate investment and property management firm, secured a 40-year property lease in 2014 to build a $150 million integrated casino resort on Tinian Harbor. Although the resort does not encroach on DOD-leased land, the U.S. Navy has expressed concerns that it could hinder “[DOD’s] various military uses at the Tinian port.” The project is financed through the U.S. EB-5 VISA PROGRAM and the company primarily targets Chinese investors. However, the project has stalled due to regulatory hurdles.
—-Beijing’s increasing influence in the Pacific Islands region has led some analysts to raise concerns that China could erode U.S. influence in the Compact countries and CNMI, which would have implications for U.S. military access in the region. According to Dean Cheng, a senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation, “If Beijing established a political foothold [in the region over the long term] it could persuade these states not to extend access to the U.S., as well as arrange for Chinese access.” Dr. Cheng notes this Chinese access may not be bases but rather surveillance and reconnaissance sites to monitor nearby U.S. military facilities and testing sites.
Over the near term, Chinese economic development in and around CNMI could have significant implications for DOD, particularly as it seeks to redeploy 4,100 troops from Okinawa to Guam and use the U.S. territory for training and military exercises. U.S. forces based in Guam would likely be called upon in any contingency in Asia. The rapid growth in Chinese investment and influx of Chinese tourists—bringing record economic growth to CNMI—is also fueling opposition to DOD plans by business executives, local politicians, and residents. If Chinese activities deter the United States from carrying out its plans for CNMI, it will contribute to China’s goal of weakening U.S. military presence in the Indo-Pacific. According to Lieutenant General Wallace “Chip” Gregson (Ret.), former commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, “The Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas and Guam are critical to our position in the Pacific. China seeks to control our access and limit our military presence through influence operations based on suspect casino operations. Energetic involvement by our law enforcement and financial agencies is needed to ensure these U.S. territories are not ripped away.”
And yet no doubt she is a committed environmentalist, who has no problem with the fact that the hundreds of millions, if not billions, of people who would come here if we had open borders would destroy our natural environment. No doubt she wants high wages for everyone, but she is quite willing to flack for the open border policies that big business loves so they can drive wages to nothing. Would she be willing to return to the situation of a hundred years ago when immigrants got no welfare or government help of any kind? Doubt it. Who does she think is going to come up with the money for the schools, roads, utilities, water systems, electrical systems all those people would require?
Is she actually proposing we make entry legal for any and all who choose to come here? Then let’s hear her unequivocally say it. She’s just another brain-dead air-head idiot who never had a logical or complex thought in her life. Unable to reason beyond her “feelings”.
