California reached a milestone in late March, issuing its one millionth illegal alien driver’s license. Let’s give them some credit – they’ve worked hard and spared no expense to sign up illegal aliens for California licenses. Since the law went into effect January 1, 2015, the DMV has added about 1,000 new workers and extended business hours for the convenience of illegal aliens.
But besides making California even more illegal alien-friendly (if that was even possible), the California illegal alien driver’s license law, AB 60, has made the state’s air quality even worse and its roads even more congested (if that was even possible). According to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, bus and light rail ridership has dropped to its lowest level in more than a decade.
But for California officials, when it comes to accommodating illegal aliens, what’s a few more global warming-causing pollutants in the air, or a bit more gridlock on the highways? And, no, FAIR is not blaming global warming or traffic on illegal aliens – those are problems that would need to be addressed even if there weren’t a single illegal alien in the country. But California’s policies on illegal immigration aren’t making solutions to these other problems any easier.

Our jobs and resources and treasury do not belong to Mexico or any foreign nation period.
Let’s get to the heart of the problem Mexico is guilty of human trafficking, drug running (which is killing Americans and devastating their families) and stealing our resources and our treasury period. And so are many other countries. The UN has raped our treasury over and over again. And with no real change in their home countries. It is not our job to fund the world.
It does effect every aspect of American legal citizens and legal immigrants lives period. It effects healthcare, education, our natural resources, our streets, our parks, our food supply, our energy supplies, welfare, food stamps, our courts, our prisons, jails, law enforcement, crime . It has a massive chain reaction nobody wants to admit. It effects us all. All Americans suffer because of illegal immigration. Lost wages. Lost jobs. Lost benefits. The cost of illegal immigration and not enforcing the laws of this land is a huge burden on this nation. It is not our job to take care of the entire world even though this nation has given and given and given.
This has never been immigration to improve their lives. This has been an invasion to overthrow the nation we built. Let’s get real. They come here for years. Are quiet. Then they start marching in our streets, demanding their way. Americans are not stupid.
Although I deplore California’s open-borders and open-arms illegal alien policy, it provides a useful example for other states. What happens when you ignore any sensible immigration policies? What happens to your housing, medical care, education and environment. California gives the other 49 states a dramatic example of the results of an open borders policy.
Illegals compete for apartments. Rents are higher in cities infested with illegals. Schools are much worse, because illegals kids require that schools spend scarce resources on ESL teachers instead of art or band. Illegals take resources.
Social, economic, and environmental problems are really only Problems! with a capital “P” when they’re caused by white people. “People of Color” [whatever TF THAT means] get a free pass. They don’t consume fossil fuels. They don’t consume fresh water. They don’t require open space, educational resources, medical care. They’re ‘perfect in every way!’
I don’t disagree with you, except that I have to add that illegal aliens are a variety of colors, ethnicity’s, and nationalities, including white. But, having said that, the majority of illegal aliens are Hispanic/Latino. The thing about liberal Democratic leaders is that they talk out of both sides of their mouth. “We gotta clamp down on emissions/pollution” BUT “Let’s put more cars on the road full of millions of illegal aliens.” (rephrasing what has been said). California is not only screwing themselves over, but all of America by bending over backwards to accommodate illegals. Where is ICE when America needs them??
