New Senate plan puts border security last – if ever.

President Trump injected prior DACA deals with steroids when he proposed giving amnesty to almost three times more people than the Obama administration. In exchange for waiving 1.8 million children of illegal immigrants through the door, he asked for limits on legal immigration and boosting border enforcement, including building a wall.

Democrats and open border Republicans did not even nibble at the deal. Instead, they railed against any effort to limit immigration to nuclear families by ending chain migration and – again – criticized the notion of building any form of a border wall.

Not content with just biting the hand that was feeding them the overly-generous deal, the pro-amnesty crowd has thrown another idea on the table – amnesty without the security.

Today, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) introduced a bill which includes no funding for construction of border wall. The measure, he said, represents “an important starting point” on a path to a bipartisan agreement on immigration.

His Democratic co-sponsor, Chris Coons of Delaware, acknowledged as much in an interview on MSNBC saying their plan “needs more border investment” while simply moving “towards securing control of the border by 2020.”

The McCain-Coons bill is a near carbon copy of legislation offered earlier this year by Reps. Will Hurd (R-Texas) and Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.). Again, there is lots of talk of goals, studies and cost estimates and silence on addressing current needs, such as hiring more border and interior agents, background checks and enforcing existing laws.

Those on the front lines of the illegal immigration fight know that a promise made to secure the border is worth nothing.

In a letter that was critical of the Trump immigration framework, National ICE Council President Chris Crane reminded the president that negotiations are not “important starting points.”

What emerges from any negotiation, he wrote, “sets the table for our nation’s immigration enforcement policies and strategy moving forward, and any critical enforcement measures bargained away potentially leaves gaping holes in law enforcement’s ability to provide for public safety and national security.”

The cost of those holes? Ask the families of Indianapolis Colts player Edwin Jackson and his Uber driver who were killed over the weekend by a Guatemalan citizen who was driving drunk despite having been deported in 2007 and 2009.

I favor a wall in the limited areas where it doesn’t ruin the environment and is most effective. Getting rid of chain migration is an excellent idea, I would limit it to children-no grandparents, parents, aunts, etc.. Felons not eligible for DACA, green cards, etc.. My idea is to make a new card for the DACA enrollees which after a few years would enable them to apply for a green card. Any DACA member receiving a green card would replace one spot from their native country, I would also cut the total no. of green cards per year. I would cut the countries that currently receive the largest numbers the most. My problem is not based on race, religion, ethnicity, but on numbers. I don’t like the idea of a population growing like the U.S. is.

The one thing that is not talked about or even mentioned is the many thousands of muslims that are involved in this DACA BS, and just how much money it is going to cost the tax payers for each and everyone of these many MILLIONS of free loaders, I bet you could build 3 walls for what it will cost !!

The McCain & Coons Bill is a non-Starter and will never go anywhere. We all know that with his cancer in his head, he has lost his mind. President Trump would never sign anything like that type of bill.
WE AMERICANS DEMAND THE WALL! WE WANT IT NOW! DACA PEOPLE ARE DMANDING AMNESTY…
WELL IF PRESIDENT TRUMP DOESN’T GET HIS WALL AND THE OTHER THINGS HE WANTS.
ALL DREAMER INVADERS / ILLEGALS, ARE GOING TO BE DEPORTED STARTING IN MARCH!
WE AMERICANS WANT THEM ALL GONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE…… AS SOON AS POSSIBLE MR. PRESIDENT!

Without laws and borders, we do not have a country!! No amnesty without security!! BUILD THAT WALL!!!

  5. avatar

GET SMART AND TOUGH, MR PRESIDENT,
TELL PELOSI, SCHUMER AND THE REST OF THE SCUMBAGS THAT YOU ARE GOING TO ISSUE AN EXECUTIVE ORDER TO THE INS/BORDER PATROL TO BEGIN TO ARREST AND DEPORT ANY AND ALL ILLEGALS IN THE USA. IN ADDITION AUTHORISE THE ARMY AND THE MARINES TO AID IN THIS PROCESS.

What an excellent idea, Joel! Using the military to provide much needed assistance in the massive deportations we have ahead of us would definitely be a great help in the fight to regain our national sovereignty! In the meantime, Finally putting Obummer and his cronies on trial for high treason might get this year off to a great start!

For years I’ved signed every fax, petition and email to my state reps and senators, with “American for Sovereignty”(then my name). Because that is what this is really about, the very Sovereignty of our country and their willingness to give it all away under the guise of compromise! Along with trading our freedoms for security, once our sovereignty is gone, I fear it will be lost forever!

The W.H. has included a plan of National Vetting Centers to be established. ConservativeHQ posted this in a recent article and I encourage all to find and read it all the way through. This plan, along with e-verify should not be left off the table.

BUT, both of these suggested options need additional language included before being implemented. That being, neither plan could ever be used against native born American citizens and the enforcement of a mandatory national I.D card, to include biometric identifiers must only be applied to any person seeking American citizenship…otherwise these could become tools for the nefarious Orwellian agenda that our enemies want.

To Anyone: Your help would be greatly appreciated. Why is President Trump being so incredibly generous to the DIMs & DACAs which is to the detriment of all Loyal Americans? I had confidence that he would stand firm concerning any kind is amnesty. Legal immigrants and loyal Americans are being exploited and damaged. History proves 100% of the time that granting amnesty of any kind directly results in many hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens entering and residing in the U S. Why are many of our “leaders” so cowardly & UnAmerican? They are disgusting!

I come to this argument from the environmental side so I vote democrat for reasons other then immigration.
But this is one issue where the democrats have moved way left and the republicans have moved left as well.
Overpopulation is a major threat to the environment and is not sustainable .
We need to reduce legal immigration back to levels of the 60’s and 70’s which is $300,000 to 500,000.
Stop Illegal immigration by establishing a E-verify system and increase penalties of Employers who employ illegals . Improve border security by a combination of tactics like better wall security, drones and patrols etc.. Establish a guest worker program where needed with no guarantee of citizenship. The idea of one huge wall is impractical and has some negative environmental impacts.
amend 14th amendment , it was never intended to give citizenship to foreign nationals. stop chain migration
Establish a merit based system for immigration. I doubt that this will make America whiter.
Norwegians do not want to come here , it will be the highly skilled people from third world countries

    • avatar

The 14th Amendment MUST be amended. It should state that any person born in the US who has at least ONE PARENT WHO IS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN may claim citizenship. This must be proven. There are too many unmarried women coming here just to have a baby who will be a citizen; many of whom have never worked here, paid taxes here or speak the language.

  9. avatar

Sorry, but if we do not secure the border ASAP, we Americans can lose our country inside of 10 yrs. It’s like a slow self destruction process. We then will become subject to non American leadership & world domination. Let there be no guessing what that will be like. We better not go in that direction or America will be consumed ! Is that what we really want ?

IF Trump doesn’t hold out for his Wall and HIS policies, those of the American people who elected him, he AND the rest of the Republicans in either the House or Senate who vote WITH Democrats to keep more of the same, will be targeted before their next campaign. Traitors to America’s Soverignty and the issues of illegal alien invaders are NOT a negotiable thing anymore. Republicans in Congress need to take a close look at what happened when Reagan trusted Democrats regarding illegal aliens (********) when he agreed to an amnesty with them.
They reneged and did NOT fulfill ANY of their promises. Which is why they are they Party of Liars. And that is putting it mildly.
Democrats are out to destroy the US. Anyone who doesn’t understand that is one of three things: totally ignorant, an imbecile, or a Democrat.
But then, they’re all pretty much the same thing.

    • avatar

You’re so right about that, Anon! As far as I’m concerned, the Democrap party should be dissolved altogether! They have been resident traitors from the beginning – I can’t believe it has taken this long for that to finally be realized (by thinking people, that is)! I don’t think their anti-American divisiveness should be tolerated any longer; they have already cost us far too much!

  11. avatar

If the WALL is not built the Republicans will lose the Senate and the House in November and the White House in 2020. Thanks to McCain, McConnell and Ryan and the rest of the Rino’s. They are all no different than the Democrats. None of them care anything about our immigration laws or the American People. Protecting the all the illegals is more important than protecting America and Americans.

Maybe tell President Trump also that a wall is needed along with ending chain migration and birthright citizenship and implementing e-verify and the biometric chip. There is no point in a wall if Congress has already granted citizenship to an overwhelming majority of new Democrats. We need the proper security and enforcement. None of these people should gain citizenship. I am disappointed in Trump for promoting that idea.

Legalize 1.8 million,if they commit a felony they are gone, guess what most have already committed felonies, they never registered for selective service at 18 yrs old!!

McCain has always been a friggin traitor just ask any Vietnam veteran who were in the same prison with the sorry bastard !! While in the prison he spilled his guts about everything from the mission of the US branches of service to every word his fellow prisoners said therefore receiving the nickname of old SONGBIRD and that damn Nixon pardoned that sonofabitch after he returned home !!!! McCain is a well known piece of ?On George Soros’s payroll !!!! What a sorry *** traitor as well is his fellow traitor *** so called republicans !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m all for Freedom but, not like this. Crossing the US/Mexico border is a crime in itself. Using your own children as a form of leverage to stay in the US should constitute another crime. America as a sovereign Nation has every right to secure its borders and any citizen or representative of any citizen(s) has no legal ground to stand on in denying America its right to be secure within its own borders. The Roman Empire collapsed due in part to the over whelming illegal immigrants seeking refuge. Those immigrants refused to learn the language and assimilate thus leading to chaos and confusion within the Roman Empire. Albeit, in today’s world we see the same exact situation happening all over again. Look at Western Europe now, its a godawful mess. America must secure its borders or go the same way Roman Empire did, into the history books.

Listen to what the people want, not the swamp critters and George Soros. We’ve been playing this “in two years” crap for 20 years. E-verify, end chain migration, end visa lottery, ramp up interior enforcement, deport the criminals, BUILD THE WALL!!!

He needs to retire and then get a cure for his cancer. He is a cancer to our congress and for him to retire will be a start to curing the cancer we have in our Congress.

Hope for a fair compromise . To ask for 30 billion on one project while many other projects need the US attention is too much. If your recall in the history of humanity, China, the great Wall, only lasted for a very short time while the tribe from Mongolia over too China……… The key is an immigration plan that is rational and orderly as in years past…………..

    • avatar

I dont care about china. THE WALL NEED TO BE BUILD AND THE ILLEGALS ALL 11 MILLION OF THEM DEPORTED WITH THE ESCUENCLES DREAMERS BACK TO THEIR LAND OF ORIGIN. THE PROBLEMS OF THE WORLD ARE NOT U.S. PROBLEMS. ILLEGAL PARENTS THAT BRING THEIR ANCHOR HERE TO BE CRIMINALS. NO MRE EXCUSES. THIS IS A INVASON. LOOK CALIFORNIA IS A DUMPSTER.

Ask the Israelis how their wall works for them today. Don’t have to back to ancient China to evaluate border walls.
We must have a wall & an end to business as usual on the border. If President Trump can’t get ALL the money for a wall & an immediate end to chain migration then the DACA folks should take their parents, aunts, uncles & 3rd cousins & head back to their country of origin. 74% of illegals collect st least one for of welfare, we should use that $ to lower out dept. US needs to act in our OWN interests for once. If you want to keep an illegal family here do what my family did, sign a legal document agreeing to financially support them by yourself, US taxpayers are done footing the bill.

      • avatar

I’m with u if they can’t accept what was put on table load up ur things and move back to Mexico. We owe u nothing.the men work for cash and women draw welfare low income housing food stamps and our people that need help live in the streets

    • avatar

We need the wall, Illegals cost the USA 2-400,000 billion, the wall will save uis at least a few hundred billion along with slow the drug trade!

This eliminates any possibility of keeping Illegal Aliens out of our sovereign Nation. This is – in every shape, manner and fashion – supporting George Soros’ open borders agenda and does not require a second thought. NO to the McCain-Coons’ asinine suggestion!

What a truly pathetic first starter, insult or just senile, very unfortunate coming from once a dreamer himself of being president.

Screw John McCain and all the swampers. What a complete RINO ******* this guy continues to be. I hold little sympathy for him. Not a tiny bit. He is what we thought he was a traitor of the first order.
