Finally the State Department Stops Visas to Gambians

USA_Passport_StampIn a remarkable move, the State Department has decided to halt visa issuance to Gambian government officials according to the October 1 Washington Times. The last time this sanction was applied was against Guyana in 2001 – and then it was an anomaly. The stoppage is required by law for countries that refuse to take back their nationals who the U.S. wants to deport. Because of continuous foot-dragging by the State Department, this sanction of visa suspension is one that has repeatedly been urged on the administration by FAIR and others including members of Congress.

The State Department said that the visa suspension is an extreme measure, but that it had no choice. It did not explain why it was being implemented now – just before the election – when it had been resisted during all the previous years of the Obama administration including Secretary Clinton’s tenure. It also did not explain why the visa suspension has not been effected for the other larger countries that have even more of their nationals in the deportation backlog than the nearly 2,000 Gambians ordered deported.

Most, if not all of the Gambians have been turned loose under a Supreme Court ruling that aliens may not be held indefinitely awaiting deportation, so, if Gambia capitulates and agrees to take back its nationals, ICE will now face the difficult and potentially dangerous task of locating and taking back into custody these aliens.

Did You Hear the News Release This Morning?

The MSM moderator questioned the Primary Republican Candidates….then afterwards emailed the DEMOCRAT PARTY thanking “them” for asking the “right questions” to Trump?

LOL…..I always thought Hil”liar”y and Ryan were in the same single Fascist ESTABLISHMENT PARTY. The cat’s officially out of the bag now. Good bye Ryan, your political FUTURE IS OFFICIALLY expired.

There is no country that is not going to take their criminals back if we cut off all visas. It’s simply having the will to do it and stop letting ourselves be walked on. Want to bet this turns into a Democratic talking point after years of inaction?

You have to wonder what Trump and his campaign are thinking. It was a given that the moderators wouldn’t bring it up, but why did he not confront Hillary with her comment about open borders. There were several things in those releases that Trump should be running ads 24/7. One the open trade and open borders comment and taking a “public” and “private” position. Especially the trade ads in the Rust Belt.

She tried to spin the public/private remark by saying Lincoln worked behind the scenes to get the 13th amendment passed. Yeah, but everyone KNEW he was for it.

She rails against Wall Street executives at public rallies but then privately she tells them that they are “best equipped to regulate themselves”. Uh, like the implosion of Lehman Bros, Merrill ***** and the sub prime mortgage crisis in 2008, which sent us into the great recession? Are you listening to that, Bernie voters?

And when did she tell US, the American people, she was for open trade and open borders? She can say it behind closed doors to Brazilian bankers for her 30 pieces of silver, but WE can’t hear it? How many more gallons of Koolade do Hillary supporters have to drink?
