How temporary is the temporary amnesty for young illegal aliens unilaterally imposed by the Obama administration? It is clear that Deferred Enforcement of Childhood Arrival (DACA) status is indefinitely temporary. The Department of Homeland Security launched a campaign on February 19 to urge current recipients of DACA status to request an extension of their “temporary” status for another two-year period.
The only age requirement for obtaining DACA status is that the applicant must have been under the age of 31 when the program was announced on June 15, 2012. Once DACA status has been conferred, there is no upper age limit for renewal.
However, because DACA was implemented as an executive action – of questionable legality – it can also be ended or modified by executive action. That means the ground rules of the program could be changed, possibly allowing individuals who were 31 or older as of 2012 to obtain DACA status. Amnesty advocates – including the Congressional Hispanic Caucus – are urging the president to extend deferred action to still more illegal aliens.

Has anyone noticed that Obama’s actions look very much like Putin’s? Obama has his appointed “czars” who are answerable only to him. Obama ignores laws and the constitution and most of the other elected officials in Washington are too afraid to say no to America’s dictator. If Congress doesn’t do what Obama wants, he just uses an “executive order” and bypasses elected senators, congressmen and the judiciary. The U.S.A. might look like the streets of Ukraine unless we make our politicians answerable to us. Look at the records of people you vote for in this next election and put little stock in what they say.
Immigration Reform means Amnesty and we all know that doesn’t work. Remember 1986!! It only multiplied
our problem many times over!! We just need to secure our borders, enforce all of our immigration laws, make
E-verify mandatory for every employer and enforce it to where they have to fire the illegals they have working
for them now, then replace them with American workers at a livable wage. Fine them heavily for every illegal they hire! If these illegals can’t get jobs and NO benefits, such as housing , schooling, medical etc. then maybe they will
go home or elsewhere. It does not matter how long ago they came or if their parents brought them! The parents
and them should be deported. They are still illegal. We do have laws and they broke them!!
THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR OUR OWN GOVERNMENT to PUT ILLEGAL ALIENS BEFORE AMERICANS!!!!!!
This is not a matter of sympathy. It is a matter of doing what is right for the American People in our own Country!!
Looks to me the first reform we need to make is with OUR POLITICIANS!!!! They seem to have forgotten
who they are supposed to be representing!! We may, if necessary have to take to the streets to protest as
the illegals do, in order to get their attention. Isn’t that sad, in our own country!! Never thought I’d see this
day come when illegals were put before Americans, by OUR OWN Politicians!!!! WE will just have to vote
them out of office and replace these traitors with TRUE Americans!!!!!!!
