“Obama’s Army” of Illegal Campaign Workers

The Obama administration has plainly shown over time that the unilateral decision to grant deferred action status is a political one, designed to benefit the President during the election. Now, these same individuals, here illegally, who benefitted from the policy are being mobilized to get out the vote.

“Obama’s Army” of Illegal Campaign Workers

“Democrats have enlisted thousands of young illegal immigrants to drag their supporters to the polls on Election Day tomorrow. These get-out-the-vote workers may or may not be breaking the law by helping with voter mobilization. Because the workers are already unlawfully present in the United States, presumably all employment they engage in –including electioneering— already violates laws against unauthorized employment,” says Matthew Vadum at Front Page Magazine.

“And there can be little doubt that some of the Obama supporters these election workers cajol into voting booths will themselves be illegal immigrants ineligible to vote in the national election. Lax, and in some cases non-existent ID requirements, at the state level will allow people to vote who have no legal right to vote.”

Illegal Immigration Remains Campaign Issue in Iowa

“Despite numerous appearances by President Obama and Mitt Romney, the issue is almost never mentioned in this key battleground state. It’s surprising, because although Latinos make up only 5 percent of Iowa’s population, their numbers have increased by 110 percent over the last 10 years,” the PBS Newshour reports.

Mass. Officials Shrug At Illegal Aliens Registered to Vote

“When police arrested Joel Santiago-Vazquez last year, they found a stash of powder and crack cocaine hidden in a false bottom of a Pringles potato chip can. Police also found, according to their report, that federal immigration authorities had “no record of (his) entering the country”. A detainer was issued, and Santiago-Vazquez became one more illegal immigrant caught in the crosshairs of the federal government,” MyFoxBoston.com reports.

“But FOX Undercover found out something else about Santiago-Vazquez. He’s been registered to vote from his home address in Lawrence since 2010.”

Immigration Is a Jobs Issue

“Since Obama’s inauguration, unemployment has exceeded 8 percent for 43 months, compared to a total of 39 months above 8 percent between 1948 and 2008. Yet, according to the government’s own figures, the U.S. brings in 1.5 million new workers from other countries each year. The government issues almost 1 million new green cards annually, cards that award permanent residency including the right to hold a jobs,” says Ric Oberlink in the NC times.

How the Obama Administration Abandoned Enforcement

“Come Jan. 2, 2013, 3,400 Border Patrol agents, 932 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) special agents, and 802 ICE deportation and removal officers are going to lose their jobs. Unless President Obama forces Congress to break the gridlock on budget decisions, the layoffs are certain,” says Janice Kephart of CIS in the Washington Times.

“The administration’s focus is on what the president can do for illegal aliens, not on securing the border. The president’s “deferred action” amnesty has logged over 179,794 applications for processing and 4,591 approved as of Oct. 10.”

Is it not amazing how many legal citizens voted for this president
    knowing so little about him?
