If you thought that no one could top California when it comes to pandering to illegal aliens, you are wrong. That honor now belongs to Oregon.
In a letter to May Day demonstrators (you know, those nice folks who dress in black and smash shop windows), Gov. John Kitzhaber announced that Oregon law enforcement officers will soon accept the Mexican Matricula Consular card as proof of identity during traffic stops. In other words, people who don’t have driver’s licenses, or, in just two words, illegal aliens.
Illegal aliens will still not be eligible for Oregon driver’s licenses, but as long as they have their Matricula cards there won’t be any actual penalty for driving without a license. They will be issued citations and released. It is unlikely that the state will be able to collect any fines from them because, unlike people who have driver’s licenses, Oregon has no authority to suspend, revoke or refuse to renew a Matricula card. So, under the new policy, Oregon doesn’t really care if you know what you’re doing while driving on their roads, they just want to know who you are.
Of course, Gov. Kitzhaber has a really good reason for the new policy. “Right now, too many Oregonians are travelling from home to work, or school, or church, in risk of violating the law,” Kitzhaber stated in his letter. Hence, the torch is passed from California to Oregon. The Governor of Oregon is doing his part to make sure that people who are in violation of laws against being in the country illegally, working here illegally, and driving illegally, are in no “risk of violating the law.” Top that one Jerry Brown!

I’ve got to protest the rankings. Governor Shumlin, Vermont (Dem, Lib., Prog.) is proceeding to turn the srtate into a sanctuary for illegal aliens. He contends farmers will go broke if they can’t “hire” “undocumented immigrants”. To promote his cause he has had State Police investigated and chastised for stopping a vehicle for an equipment violation. After the stop it was discovered the driver and passengers had no papers (laws state non-citizens must carry papers showing their status) therefore the Troopers followed the law and passed the persons to ICE.
The governor claimed the Troopers were profiling! (Actually there is no statue/law prohibiting “profiling!”)
No offense intended to Vermont. Ben and Jerry-land is certainly a worthy contender.

The EU citizens are at an uprise their unemployment benefits are expired. In California the federal extension unemployment benefits is going to end here very soon, and thousands of Califfornian will be put out on the streets. Sooner than not civil unrest will hit here in the U.S.A.
The National Guard will have to be called out, to protect the Illegal Immigrants. Americans that are hungry and fustrated from not being able to feed there children. We are being force into a Revolution of sort, whether we like it or not.

If a state like New Mexico, or Utah, and any other that doesn’t require citizenship for a Driver’s License why should any other state accept or allow holders of those DL the right to use a motor vehicle out side of those two, or three states, and the same go’s for OR. and that moronic Matricula card. I will bring Suit if anyone of the holders of those Jack-in-the-box prize’s is in an accident within my state or a resident of my state is involved in a similar action in one of those state that do not meet or exceed the federal standard.

places like oregon and calif are idiots, thay make ather states and people look bad. thay need to not cater to these illegals, but do the right thing for us and our fallow ameracans, and make it harder on them. but when you have idiots like this in the government……..well this is what happens……..there day will come for screwing over the ameracan people.
What would be even funnier yet except that it’s so tragically true is the fact that those supposed “secure” Matricula Consular cards are sold by Mexican consulate offices anywhere in the country, often without any effort to validate the identity of the applicant. I’ve had occasion to come across illegal aliens who had up to 6 of those cards in their possesssion, each with a different name, d.o.b. and other criteria. A number of years ago, a U.S. Senator (or possibly a Congressman, I’m not sure which) demonstrated that even HE could obtain one of those cards, even though he was a gringo. The last I heard, the Mexican government sells those cards for about $30.00 each, so it’s a real gold mine for Mexico to issue as many of those cards as possible.
I guess this also means they don’t have to show proof of insurance when pulled over either.
Oregon will soon learn the error of their ways when like Mexifornia today (it used to be California) ,La Raza Politicians
colonize Oregon to further the Mexican President’s Agenda of “Wherever there is a Mexican…That is MEXICO”!!!!
The UNITED STATES CORPORATION
Since the Act of 1871 which established the District of Columbia, we have been living under the UNITED STATES CORPORATION which is owned by certain international bankers and aristocracy of Europe and Britain.
In 1871 the Congress changed the name of the original Constitution by changing ONE WORD — and that was very significant as you will read.
Some people do not understand that ONE WORD or TWO WORDS difference in any “legal” document DO make the critical difference. But, Congress has known, and does know, this.
1871, February 21: Congress Passes an Act to Provide a Government for the District of Columbia, also known as the Act of 1871.
With no constitutional authority to do so, Congress creates a separate form of government for the District of Columbia, a ten mile square parcel of land (see, Acts of the Forty-first Congress,” Section 34, Session III, chapters 61 and 62).
The act — passed when the country was weakened and financially depleted in the aftermath of the Civil War — was a strategic move by foreign interests (international bankers) who were intent upon gaining a stranglehold on the coffers and neck of America.
Congress cut a deal with the international bankers (specifically Rothschilds of London) to incur a DEBT to said bankers. Because the bankers were not about to lend money to a floundering nation without serious stipulations, they devised a way to get their foot in the door of the United States.
The Act of 1871 formed a corporation called THE UNITED STATES. The corporation, OWNED by foreign interests, moved in and shoved the original Constitution into a dustbin. With the Act of 1871, the organic Constitution was defaced — in effect vandalized and sabotage — when the title was capitalized and the word “for” was changed to “of” in the title.
THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is the constitution of the incorporated UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
It operates in an economic capacity and has been used to fool the People into thinking it governs the Republic. It does is not!
Capitalization is NOT insignificant when one is referring to a legal document. This seemingly “minor” alteration has had a major impact on every subsequent generation of Americans.
What Congress did by passing the Act of 1871 was create an entirely new document, a constitution for the government of the District of Columbia, an INCORPORATED government. This newly altered Constitution was not intended to benefit the Republic. It benefits only the corporation of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and operates entirely outside the original (organic) Constitution.
Instead of having absolute and unalienable rights guaranteed under the organic Constitution, we the people now have “relative” rights or privileges. One example is the Sovereign’s right to travel, which has now been transformed (under corporate government policy) into a “privilege” that requires citizens to be licensed.
By passing the Act of 1871, Congress committed TREASON against the People who were Sovereign under the grants and decrees of the Declaration of Independence and the organic Constitution.
The Act of 1871 became the FOUNDATION of all the treason since committed by government officials.

Please expand on this. I don’t understand the consequence of the FOR vs. the OF. A corporation has shareholders with rights of governance. What does that mean in this case? Who are they and what are their rights? Do you mean treason literally?
Really? If the cops had any testes they’d simply lock those driving with their so called “Matricula” cards and push the vehicle off the road and into the deepest nearby canyon.

What it all boils down to is special rights for a few because they are Latino. The United States has to be the most ignorant, screwed up country on the face of this planet. Any nation that gives ILLEGAL aliens preferential treatment over it’s own citizens is either run by looneys or downright immoral and evil.
Our government even gives millions of dollars to Latino racist organizations La Raza (The Race) and MEChA who’s slogan is “For The Race everything. Outside The Race, nothing”. Obama has La Raza members on his own cabinet in the white house!

I say we all apply for matricula cards AND ITIN’s . Lets see what happens when our bumbling idiots in office get overrun with these nothing more than get of of jail free cards for illegal aliens.
I am not sure what the justifiable government interest is here for treating groups of people differently. If anything this places an additional burden on state resources without justification. I wish we saw more rational behavior in politics but it looks like that is just wishful thinking.
My husband received a ticket in Contra Costa County in CA. He got to court early because he wanted to fight the ticket. Well, there were +a big group of people all spanish last names. They had fines for no licenses, no insurance, registrations not up to date, etc. These were hefty fines, totalling in the thousands. The judge said you can either pay (whatever their total due) or you can pay $100 dollars for a class called something like “Living in America”.
Of course my husbands ticket was not dismissed and he had to pay his total ticket of about $300.00.

American citizens have. I’m truly sick of it.
We have illegals from all over the world. So, this has nothing to do with black, green, brown, or white. We have no idea who is here in our country.

Wow! I lived in Oregon for 32 years. Like most, I always knew Kitzhaber was a flake, but I think this decision even has the Granola eaters scratching their heads. What about proof of Insurance Gov.? I have to show proof, do your Illegal Pals?

I want a Matricula card. I would venture to guess it was less expensive than the $44 I paid to get a driver’s license. And now I know why my auto insurance rates increased by more than 33%.

I very seriously doubt this JO will consider running again. Keep your antenna on alert to what transpires in the EU because over there will travel over here. The government’s U6 unemployment rate for OR is about 17%, not the media’s hyped 8.6%. The 17% is extremely close, but I have yet to see the BLS stat for the first quarter of 2012.
