Ben Carson Supports Guest-Worker Status for Illegal Aliens

“Carson said he would secure the border, but also grant guest-worker status to people who are in the country without documentation. That way, they can pay taxes and come out from the shadows, he said. Mass deportation, he said, would be expensive and impractical, and crippling to the hotel and agriculture industries,” the Associated Press writes.

Five Time Deported Criminal Alien Captured in Texas

“A convicted burglar from Mexico with a history of repeated felony convictions and deportations is back in Texas. Arturo Oleague Martinez, 48, was arrested by federal agents last week at the county jail in this border city and taken before a U.S. Magistrate Judge. He was charged with one count of illegally re-entering the country,” Breitbart News reports.

EU to Share 160,000 Refugees

“European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker called on EU countries Wednesday to agree by next week to share 160,000 refugees, warning that Greece, Italy and Hungary can no longer cope alone,” the Associated Press says.

Report Says 72% of Legal Immigrant Families on Welfare

“’Welfare use by illegal immigrant households is certainly a concern, but the bigger issue is welfare use by legal immigrants,’ said Steven Camarota, the Center’s director of research and author of the report,” states the Washington Examiner.
