Malkin: Attacking Assimilation

“I have had enough of smug liberal elites wrapped in their ‘Celebrate Diversity’ banners tearing down minority conservatives. Look in the mirror, media and academia bigots. Your own reflexive racism and divisive rhetoric are poisoning public discourse. There’s nothing ‘progressive’ about attacking the children and grandchildren of immigrants who proudly embrace an American identity. We are not ‘self-hating.’ You just hate what we believe,” says Michelle Malkin.

Visa Overstays are Common

“When Ines Gomez Calderon arrived at Miami International Airport on June 1 on a flight from Colombia she was promptly arrested after immigration authorities learned she had previously overstayed her tourist visa for nine years. While Gomez Calderon’s lengthy overstay was an unusual case, passport control officers at MIA regularly encounter travelers who have previously stayed beyond the expiration date on their visas,” the LA Times reports.

ISIS Represents a New Generation of Terror Warns Rep. McCaul

“Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) said on Sunday that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has greater influence worldwide than President Obama realizes. ‘ISIS is not just regionalized, like the administration says in only Iraq and Syria,’ McCaul told host Chris Wallace on ‘Fox News Sunday.’
‘This is a global threat,’ the House Homeland Security chairman said. ‘This is a new generation of terrorists,’” The Hill reported.

NBC Cuts Trump After Immigration Comments

“NBC has cut longstanding ties with Donald Trump following the presidential hopeful’s controversial comments about immigration. NBC will no longer be the home of the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, which Trump produces, and Trump has already stepped down from running his reality show The Apprentice to run for president. ‘At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,’ the network said in a statement. ‘Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump,’” Time Magazine reports.

DHS To House Change Detention Policy for Transgender Detainees

“Immigration authorities will consider housing transgender detainees based on the gender they identify with in the wake of criticism about detention conditions for the population, officials said on Monday. Detention staff should consider transgender detainees’ preferences when making decisions about housing and clothing and what pronouns should be used, Immigration and Customs Enforcement said in new guidelines for the treatment of transgender detainees,” the Star Tribune says.

Michelle does have such double standards…………….herself being an anker baby and brought up here to the US with her mom at 8 months pregnant and being so racist against the Mexicans and illegals,,,,,,,

    • avatar Leland says:

Her parents had legal permission to be here as permanent residents. Her mother and father did not sneak into the country illegally or over stay a visa. Maybe you need to consider the difference between legal and illegal. Anchor baby means using your child born here as an excuse to stay even though the parent committed an illegal act by being here.

It’s amazing how when you obey the law you don’t need to worry about your visa. Having been to the Bahamas several times and left when I should, the last time they approved me for a month even though I only wanted three days.

But those who don’t want the problem solved always come up with the line about “we can’t round up 12 million illegals”. Implying that the only “solution” is yet another amnesty, which only exacerbates the situation and starts it all again. Liberals about lost their lunches when Romney said they would “self deport”, but he was exactly right. Deny jobs, licenses, and benefits and they will get sick of it pretty quick and leave the same way they came.
