In an op-ed published in the Asbury Park Press and other Gannett newspapers across New Jersey, I discuss why assimilating the millions of immigrants who have settled in the United States in recent decades is essential to ensuring a harmonious future in this country. “A nation is more than just a collection of random people who happen to share a defined geographical territory. A nation is defined by a common culture: A core set of beliefs, principles and language,” notes the op-ed.
In order to give the assimilation process a chance to work, the United States needs to cut back substantially on the excessively high levels of immigration of recent decades.

I have said this before that all immigration should be stopped for at least ten years in order to get a handle on just who is living here. I know one thing as the cities continue to fill up with cars and people it is beginning to look a lot like India or one of the numerous third world countries where people are packed in like sardines. Housing will be more and more costly as the number of immigrants grows and grows with no end in sight.
Assimilation is dead in the United States. We live in a multicultural society; into which culture do we assimilate? The “melting pot” concept is no longer valid. “Assimilation” has been replaced by “inclusion.” There is a night and day difference between the two terms. Look them up.
The hope of third world immigrants “assimilating” into our culture would be laughable if it weren’t so tragic. People love to state “we are a nation of immigrants” that formed a “melting pot,” but this was made possible in the past due to two very important factors. First, after each HUGE wave of immigration, a virtual moratorium was put into place to allow time for assimilation, the last one being in 1924. Second, and MUCH more important, past immigration waves were nearly ALL European. Prior to 1965, most of the US was of Western European stock, which is why the large influx of Eastern European immigrants caused such alarm in the 1800’s and early 1900’s. Fortunately, the two groups were generally of the same race, although there are minor differences, and this allowed them to be assimilated to the overall American population. After a few generations of mixing, the groups became largely homogeneous. Since the immigration act of 1965, however, our laws have favored third world immigration. A little common sense should allow even the least educated Caucasians to notice that the third world is COMPLETELY composed of people of color. True, we have been indoctrinated with the nonsense that all groups would be completely equivalent absent unjust social forces created by racist white oppressors, but even with such indoctrination, eventually our senses will allow us to perceive reality. This is not to say that individuals of any group cannot assimilate, as many have and do. However, these racial groups as a whole CANNOT. There is a reason why anywhere in the entire world in which blacks/browns are the majority population, the society is a violent, awful place in which to live, at least by white standards. This is why immigrants flee the third world societies created by their own people. Our allowance for “refugees” also means that virtually anyone can claim asylum in fleeing their hellhole countries. If we look to history, the truth that was known to the civilized world for most of human history prior to the 1950’s is that civilizations, such as the Egyptians or Romans, fell due to the founding populations of those civilizations disappearing, or at least falling tremendously in number. Great civilizations produced by Caucasian peoples become a light to the whole world, and our rich love obtaining cheap labor. Eventually, the founding populations are either displaced or absorbed into the much more numerous third world populations, and the society begins to reflect the mean of the people that come to represent its majority. As the United States becomes populated by a third world majority, American society will reflect this majority as it builds the same society from which it once fled. It is unfortunate that most are either unwilling or unable to accept the truth. Assimilation will only come through the absorption of the traditional white American population into the coming third world majority. This means regressing down to a third world society. The ONLY way to avoid this mathematical certainty is separation, and it does not appear that whites have the will to defend their own people’s future.
If the immigrants would assimilate and be a part of our cultural, we would agree that many different nationalities could be an asset to the United States. As it is they don’t even bother to learn our language nor customs. Dearborn Michigan, Chinatown Chicago ,and many other places that will not OBEY our laws nor live under our rules.
