Disney Laid off Americans to Bring in Cheap Foreign Labor

“The employees who kept the data systems humming in the vast Walt Disney fantasy fief did not suspect trouble when they were suddenly summoned to meetings with their boss. While families rode the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and searched for Nemo on clamobiles in the theme parks, these workers monitored computers in industrial buildings nearby, making sure millions of Walt Disney World ticket sales, store purchases and hotel reservations went through without a hitch. Some were performing so well that they thought they had been called in for bonuses,” the New York Times writes.

“Instead, about 250 Disney employees were told in late October that they would be laid off. Many of their jobs were transferred to immigrants on temporary visas for highly skilled technical workers, who were brought in by an outsourcing firm based in India. Over the next three months, some Disney employees were required to train their replacements to do the jobs they had lost.”

Illegal Alien Cleared to Become Lawyer in New York

“His legal fight to become a lawyer lasted three years. This week, Cesar Vargas, a Mexican-born 31-year-old New Yorker, became the first immigrant in the state without legal status to be approved to work as a lawyer. An appellate panel of the State Supreme Court approved his application to the bar on Wednesday, overturning a 2013 decision by a committee that had denied his application based on his immigration status but had asked the court to rule,” the New York Times reported.

Apple Grower Fined $2.5 Million for Hiring Illegal Aliens

“Broetje Orchards in Washington state, one of the country’s largest apple growers, has agreed to pay a $2.25 million fine for hiring illegal immigrants. The fine is one of the largest ever levied against an agricultural concern, according to government officials who announced it Thursday,” the Wall Street Journal reported.

Rubio Says Hillary Flip Flopped on Immigration

“Sen. Marco Rubio sharpened his claws Thursday against his top Democratic rival for the White House, criticizing Hillary Clinton for doing nothing ‘of meaning’ on immigration during her tenure. ‘I don’t know what her plan is, and she’s never done anything on it of meaning,’ the Florida Republican said during an interview with Fox News’s ‘Outnumbered,’” The Hill writes.

“She was a U.S. senator and never did anything on it — she’s given speeches about it.”

5th Circuit Wants More Briefs in Hearing Over Obama Amnesty

“A little more than a week after denying President Barack Obama’s effort to move forward with controversial executive actions on immigration, a federal appeals court has ordered both sides in the case to file new legal briefs,” Politico reported.

“The order Thursday from the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals asked the Justice Department and the 26 states challenging Obama’s moves to file legal briefs by June 18 offering views on the opinions a three-judge panel issued May 26. That panel split, 2-1, rejecting the Obama Administration’s request for an emergency stay that would allow immigration authorities to move forward with immigration policy changes blocked since February by a district court’s injunction.”

The Western world’s elite class is going to toss immigrants in the rubbish bin eventually in favor of their next cheap labor favorite: automation.

    • That was the dream of the Seattle 1962 World’s Fair

That we would make the same pay and work 3 day weeks with automation. That dream was killed by immigration overpopulation, now we’ll all be canned.

  2. Apple Growing Industry in Washington State

Not only are they hiring IAs to pick apples….a good portion of their crop is excess and is rotting on the ground.

  3. avatar Simply Sara says:

Oh, so true. Both Iraq and Syria are heading to become failed States. Assad needs to be exiled and moved off the face of the Earth, presently he is tied with the Boko Haram leader to equal the devil. himself.
…….McCain and Graham need to retire. Just listening to them on t,v,, they sound like an old, broken record.
It will take America, Jordan and other countries that have leaders, who are not on the brink of insanity, to work to try and save the innocent people of those countries.

  4. avatar Leland says:

Lindsey Graham’s presidential announcement made barely a ripple. His strategy for electoral riches seems to be pandering to legal Hispanics by rewarding the illegal actions of other Hispanics. He doesn’t explain why that is going to make much difference, given that the Democrats will still promise even more of the big government programs Hispanics are in favor of.

I’ve noticed for a long time how Graham and McCain are similar on many issues, besides their devotion to amnesty and mass immigration. Both of them are on this Iraq kick that says “we shouldn’t have left and we need to return to train them”.

Train them??? We were there 10 years. What Graham and others ignore is what even the most basic understanding of the situation will tell you. Which is, your position in the Iraqi government or military is based on whether you are Sunni or Shia. Not whether you are competent. A lot of the ground troops have not been paid in months, in a country swimming in oil, so it’s hardly a surprise they are not going to take a chance on getting killed and leave their families completely destitute. If anyone needs “training” it’s their corrupt government.
