This Thanksgiving, all of us have so much in which to be grateful, the warmth and love of family, the blessings of freedom and our great sense of community – an American community that showed its affection for this land by sharing an enthusiasm and joy in advancing the welfare of our fellow citizens who need a sharing community that looks out for all our interests. The ideal of self-determination is embodied in our organic understanding of our democracy; and this year, we all did our best to ensure that ideal is alive and well in our hearts and our minds as we give thanks for all we share in the advancement of our national enterprise. Pause and reflect, for our work has only just begun.
