Tell the Indiana House No to SB 207 & 177Tomorrow in Indiana, the Public Education Committee in the House will consider two higher education bills that will determine if illegal aliens can receive in-state tuition rates (SB 207) while veterans must prove legal residency before applying (SB 177).

SB 207 grants in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens currently enrolled in Indiana colleges and universities.  The bill has passed in the Senate and has been sent to the House for consideration and has been assigned to the House Education Committee.

SB 177 is a bill that would require U.S. armed forces veterans to prove their legal residency in the state of Indiana before they can apply for college in-state tuition rates! This bill is also before the House Education Committee and places higher standards on our veterans than those who are here illegally in the United States!

We are asking that all Indiana taxpayers and concerned citizens call and email their elected officials, especially those on the House Education Committee, and voice your opposition to these bills. And your presence and testimony against this bill would be most valuable!

The Federal Government recently announced that they are discontinuing college assistance funds for our loyal veterans…and now Indiana is going out of its way to provide financial assistance to illegal aliens!
