Last Friday during the vote-a-thon that took place in the Senate before recess, U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama) offered an amendment to the 2014 budget that would have prevented illegal immigrants from receiving free and taxpayer-funded benefits under either Medicaid or the President’s Affordable Care Act if given legal status through an amnesty bill. Unfortunately, the Senate’s Democrat majority was unanimous in opposing the amendment, and it failed by a vote of 43-56.

If this trash passes in congress…..we really should start to organize the people for a boycott and use it as a preamble for the battle to come. If they want to give free health care to illegals…then we should all get free health care. I mean not pay a dime and get the same thing. Then they should let all the American prisoners out of jail…same as they did the illegals. Illegals..after all, shouldn’t have more rights than citizens . Right? This has got to stop somewhere. We know where it is leading, and our reps in DC are doing nothing to stop these maniacs. I have personally had it .

Unfortunately, not true! Currently, and I hope they stop giving automatic citizenship to these children, but “anchor babies” born in the U.S. do in fact receive financial assistance.
I know every state pays out of pocket “annually” to cover – K – 12 education, Medicare/Medicade and the incarceration of Illegals. According to a report completed in 2009 by FAIR, my state, paid out of pocket over 800 MILLION. Liberal Democrats see this “untaped” pool as “future voters”…

The topic of illegal immigration needs to include outsourcing and insourcing. I have friends who have advanced degrees from top US colleges who have lost their jobs due to outsourcing. Pressure needs to be put on large corporations, especially in the high tech sector. Why are the CEO’s of these companies insisting that the US needs to import high skilled foreign workers – when there is an abundance of skilled US high tech workers? Why is Steve Jobs still regarded as an American hero when his products were made in China under brutal working conditions? What happened to the strong union leadership in this country?
Illegal immigration and outsourcing are not only related to picking lettuce, gardening, or working in the back of restaurants. Any job involving a computer (which is the majority of all jobs today) can be outsourced. Today, Americans cannot work at fast food places because the salaries are too low (You can feed a family on $10 dollars per hour?). They can’t work in the construction, gardening, general handyman trades, etc. because illegals have taken these jobs and in the process devalued them- not just via low salaries but also quality of work, and craftsmanship.
They can’t work as telemarketers or customer service reps since these jobs are now in India, Mexico, or the Philippines – at a fraction of the salary. They can’t work in the high tech sector because jobs are being both outsourced as well as insourced (not everyone can be the founder of Facebook).
When politicians speak about “the jobs” – they mean low paying jobs with no benefits or pensions. The issue is not just “jobs” – there is always a Help Wanted sign at Wal-Mart or Burger King. It’s about salaries, benefits, and respect. Yet, due to cowardly politicians, big business lobbyists, weak union leadership, and other key factors – our future looks bleak.
I think that changing Congress is our only way out of this. Regular people in regular towns and cities across the country running campaigns focused on one issue and one issue only: The protection of the American worker.

There was a time that democrats defended the working class & poor. That’s long gone & lost to the muslim brotherhood & the old communist compromise. Government is saying obamascare is going to cost over $20,000/yr… 12 million more is ($240 billion) minimum on top of everything else… 12 million permanently unemployed citizens losing their av$43,500 wage ($522 billion) cursed to government subsidies of unemployment & welfare @ $20,000 ($240 billion) plus 12 million legal-illegal aliens doing exactly what they’re doing now with welfare, schools, etc. ($240 billion) It means the $1 trillion our executive-legislative are borrowing to give to illegal aliens jumps to $1.24 TRILLION!
No one is hurt more than average workers and the poor! Bloomberg, Soros, or Face book can give whatever they want, but it’s another dastardly thing to tax and encumber hard pressed citizens by raising taxes to give government money to aliens and foreign nations the hate us!

We have stupid legislatures. Printing money that has no value, a huge debt growing by leaps and bounds daily and they would compound the problems! I do not see or hear of any sacrifices by any members of the legislator or our leaders! People will always take something for nothing and always abuse it, that was learned a great many years ago by agricultural education extension and is why they began charging, which worked out great and a whole lot better!
If common sense nor ordinary reasoning won’t work maybe such a practical example will, but frankly I doubt it for the greed is too great for votes and contributions form any where they can get it good or bad. Aside from Medicare, we are hanging onto supplemental insurance which accounts for one-fourth of our income. A recent visit to the ER for my husband to have some stitches for a head wound he sustained from a fall, cost $4,800.00 plus. Thank heavens we had the insurance. Something has to be done about medical costs, but Obamacare is not the answer. Surely, someone can figure out what is needed that is fair to patients and doctors. If we didn’t have to pay the cost for the millions of illegal aliens here, we’d have a better shot at fixing the problem. That, as well as the tremendous cost we shoulder from the waste and fraud in our own government, and the handouts to foreign countries. Those three sources account for a lot of money, and all are a terrible waste.
If you were not an American citizen this would have all been FREE, you would not need insurance. Your medical care costs so much because it helps pay healthcare for illegal aliens. Illegals should return to their own country for healthcare. They are “moochers” on our healthcare, Social Security and medicaid.

Current American overpopulation has already gutted Medicaid where it doesn’t cover dental, let alone allow you to schedule medical visits with a lion share of the doctors anyway, unless you also have like a low [?] cost private healthcare insurance plan [approx $20K/yr]….the real joke is Medicaid is costing the federal government money, irrespective of its apparent uselessness.
Under Obamacare, 70% of the uninsured will be put on useless Medicaid, making it even WORSE.
Medicare, similar conundrum, a lion’s share of the doctors won’t see you unless you have private insurance too.
They’ve apparently already gutted these programs to the bone and/or current overpopulation has.
I say no for illigals to get medicaid. Cityzens of the us have paid tax’s to have this for a long time. People in the us that need help with health care can not get it. Like me, I am on a fixed income and i get $1083 a month, and they tell me that i am geting to much a month. How do they expect an american to get dental care on that income. Medicare will not pay for that or the VA. What do you think. Should illigals be catared too.
The reform bill should not be passed. There are Americans out there that do not have a job, and they expect illegals to nwork in the fields. No they will not if they get reform. Also they broke the law when they came over illegaliy and they claim that they have not broken any laws. An American breaks the law, they would put them in jail faster then their heads can spin. We did not ask for illegals to come over. When people came to the states from over seas a long time ago, they needed no pass port, wll they needed was a letter showing they had relatives here in the states and could work. Today there are laws that were not in place in those days. Also, they get amnesty, there will be another wave of illegals wanting the same rights. The only right i can see is that they have the right to work if they are not caught, and a place to live. They figured that if they had children in the states they would not be deported. Now they cry that the government is separating the families, when they brought this on them selves. They knew that if they were caught they would be deported. What do you think. We fought for our freedom they did not.
We don’t need immigration reform, we need to enforce the laws we already have passed. Our government should not pass any “cafeteria laws” that pick and choose which laws they want to enforce. Remember years ago when people were not admitted to America with contagious diseases, bed bugs and had to have a sponsor to take care of them.
