Republicans are standing out on the ledge contemplating their next move. They have an air of desperation, having lost an election they believe they should have won. They are reckoning with the unpleasant reality that the nation’s fastest growing group of voters, Hispanics, doesn’t love them.

Close the dual citizenship loophole.
Make all immigration infractiorions felonies.
This is not to mention the number of Democrats who have Jumped Ship now that they see what a Giant Mistake they made in re-electing this monster! I know this because I was a life long dem ( I apoligize to my fellow americans) I learned just before the 2010 elections what the dems were up too and it sure isn’t the Well Being of Americans! I voted Straight Republican in 2010 and again in 2012. I live in florida where I thought that Rubio was a good guy.He ran on his I will never aprove of amnesty,We can not reward people who broke the law? Only now do we find that he has been working on this Amnesty the past few years! He has lost my vote from here on and I have told him so! How could you trust him ? Karen, I know you moved to the Republicans but the Republicans lost because they put up for VP Paul Ryan who favors legalization so because of Business interest and Ryan sit under the feet of Jack Kemp who opposed prop 187 in California and Kamp model is low taxes and high immirgation which is not a smart policy who want pay for this.
No Amnesty in any form. PERIOD.

That “path to citizenship” will be at least 65% Democratic voters. That’s been the fact for three decades, even after Reagan’s amnesty when GHW Bush got 31% of the Hispanic vote. Supporting citizenship and the right to vote would be like the GOP carrying an anchor while trying to swim. Plus all those amnestied are going to have their relatives come here. The numbers don’t work. Like they say, when you’re in a hole stop digging. The Republicans need to go after women and the working class. Not to become a copy of the Democrats but the GOP strategy of drive all the moderates out of the party will not work. It has cost them several Senate seats. Grover Norquist may provide a lot of money, but he’s one vote. Well most of the so-called conservatives are like Grover they want cheap labot usually thru guest worker programs. they may or may not support legalization.

Another group would be the blue dog Democratics, some like Heath Schuler are good on the immirgation. We need to strengthen the Dems that go against legalization few of them would be on the left anyway, they would be on the center.
It is obvious THE PEOPLE is at fault in the illegal immigration issue………………………if The People had never hired them and enforce the law by supporting our gov this would have never happened…..PLAIN AND SIMPLE! Now we have to deal with it.

The Democrats are excellent at winning bidding wars when it comes to making promises of expensive benefits and open borders that any rational person would consider outrageous. There’s absolutely no way Republicans could give amnesty without losing big time, regardless of the border situation. And any penalties and constraints on benefits or limitations on migration would ultimately be undone, as future Democratic politicians would lobby to remove them, all the while demonizing Republicans when they run for re-election.
So are the Republicans and any politician that takes power. This term the red spend a lot, next term the blue spend a lot………..we are in a vicious circle without moving forward….we need a third party THE PARTY OF LINCOLN!!!!!
